Bay Area Bike Rides is provided as a free resource for Bay Area cyclists and visitors. I started the site back in the mid-90s (before the Internet Archive existed) when I was trying to encourage friends to get out and ride more.

The site is, and will always be, advertising-free. But if you'd like to support cycling in the Bay Area, I encourage you to donate to one of the many local cycling non-profits. I am personally involved with The Original Scraper Bike Team and Rich City Rides, both great organizations.

You can check out my current projects at The Bike Lab, or read my cycling trip reports at my personal site.

Or, hire me through Totally Doable Consulting.
